Dessica relocalise sa production

Eco-Designed, scalable solutions for industrial drying and dehumidification

Dessica has positioned itself in a niche market of industrial air drying techniques and become a leading player in Europe, the only French company entirely dedicated to this activity.

Our uniqueness stems from being a cooperative, a SCOP which is doing very well and now celebrating its 25th anniversary. With our new locations, we now control the entire value chain by internalizing the manufacture of a whole range of standard dehumidifiers while remaining agile and responsive.

74% of employees are partners in the SCOP

An integrated company : air dehumidifier manufacturer

We are becoming an integrated company with the know-how to develop drying and dehumidification solutions. BTI, our subsidiary sheet metal works, manufactures all the metal parts for our machines. We therefore have total control of the entire manufacturing process. We deliver excellent industry standards within short deadlines, a major decision-making factor today.

  • Dry both air and products
  • Eliminate frost and condensation
  • Prevent clogging
  • Protect equipment
  • Preserve during storage

An extension that embodies more than a corporate culture…it’s a state of mind!

We wanted to adapt more to the developments and needs of the industrial sector and to have eco-designed products. This comes out in our work groups. Our cooperative and re-active practices result in creating a strong culture of innovation and employees who are engaged and versatile.

More than a new catalog, we promote an offering of scalable solutions that are fully in line with our customers’ expectations.

This is the entire Dessica mentality: we think, we test, we observe, we adapt, we adopt, we decide, we move forward…the Test&learn policy: the group believes in its agility!

Our new range of dehumidifiers

Our dehumidification technology via the drying wheel remains unchanged but we are innovating with the modularity and ergonomics of our products. This is at the heart of the design process and is what makes us different. Our customer’s existing installation doesn’t adapt to our machines, it is our machines that adapt, thanks to a unique concept of serial and configurable manufacturing.

We address all markets with great attention paid to those that are very dynamic at the moment: agri-food, pharmaceuticals and energy. Their requirements for performance, profitability and energy efficiency match our own, starting with the durability of our products.

For example, we simplify maintenance and replacement of parts thanks to a system of easily interchangeable sub-assemblies.

It’s what we’re known for: Dessica are the technical experts and proud of it!

Dessica, historically, is a design office and even while widely developing its businesses, our clients still think of us as technical experts. We have retained this field presence; we come out of it with a clear vision of their needs.

The “Process” range specifically targets production, packaging and drying environments while the “Preservation” range offers flexible solutions for treating small volumes of air and small surface areas, while ensuring precise control of humidity.

Our future

Our 2024-2028 strategic plan is ambitious: to limit our environmental impact as much as possible. We established a carbon footprint and a life cycle analysis on one of our standard machines to guide our areas of improvement. We are part of the Business Climate Convention, which will allow us to define a roadmap to go even further as a player in ecological transition.

  • Energy Performance: + 10 %

What are our parallel areas of development? Our rental equipment offer, for temporary needs, and then of course we are looking further ahead with our international commercial ambitions.

Each of our decisions and all of our actions are guided by the creation of healthy values. Internally, by promoting collective work, fulfilment on the job, supporting the development of our employees. And externally of course, via cooperation with the ecosystem of our surroundings.

Our DNA as a SCOP is also about shared governance, democratic functioning and equitable sharing of wealth.
