Air dryer for plastics processing

To increase production rates by reducing the cycle time of the presses, it is often necessary to cool the moulds with a cold water circuit. But depending on weather conditions, especially in the summer, the humidity in the workshop where the press is located causes condensation on the moulds. These phenomena give rise to quality problems and require the temperature parameters of the moulds to be changed, limiting the reduction in cycle time of the machine.

DESSICA dry air allows the dew point of the air to be controlled and an atmosphere around the mould making condensation impossible to be maintained. Thus, rates can be increased without altering production quality.
